Soundz Edge ™ technology uses 3 different exchangeable filters with unique membrane technology. -10dB, -17dB and Total Block. They widen the sound stage reducing the feeling of occlusion, eliminating the fatigue felt after long periods of use.
The -10 dB option (white filter) offers maximum ambience and the minimum level of isolation. You can hear your surroundings clearly while the feeling of occlusion is eliminated, along with fatigue commonly experienced in prolonged use case scenarios
The -17 dB option (gray filter) offers medium ambience and an increased level of isolation compared to the -10 dB. Surroundings can be still heard, albeit more subdued. The -17 dB variant offers increased soundstage width and height, thus a more open soundstage compared to conventional sealed in-ear monitors. Finally, listening fatigue is eliminated so you can enjoy listening to music care-free
The total block (black filter) completely seals the vent, acting exactly like a conventional custom in-ear monitor. The level of ambience is reduced considerably while the total block option ensures extremely high isolation, up to -35 dB. Since the vent is fully sealed, pressure relief is not offered
